I was supposed to draw a design inspired by puzzle pieces. Well, when I think of the word "puzzle" I think of 'mystery' and 'unknown' and just something more complicated than it seems. Thus, I came up with this.

As you may see, some things were added after the original lineart was scanned, as I was coloring the drawing. So they won't show up in the picture on the right.

Fantastic design! I love the color combination and after looking at this for several minutes I still find new things! :D
Just love all the details you put into this. A very imaginative and creative way to illustrate the word puzzle. Love it!!

Nice stuff! I like both pics, but you should try doing the technique on the right more often. It just looks beautiful in a different way. ^^
And yea, for some reason the outfit reminds me of Jack-o-lantern. :D

yeah, I sort of thought about that too at some point. XD well, the technique on the right is just the original sketch, which I scanned before coloring.
